Richard "Rick" Woody, Facilities Manager
Midland County Horseshoe Arena, Midland Texas.
DMC is proud to welcome Richard "Rick" Woody as the new Facility Manager. Rick comes to DMC with over eighteen years experience in the public facility management field. He received his Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio, International Business and Marketing. His BBA is in Management, graduating Cum Laude. Professionally, Rick graduated from I.A.A.M. School for Public Assembly Facility Managers in 94 & 95. His experience is extensive and most recently includes Building Manager at University of Texas at San Antonio University Center where he managed 14 event rooms of various capacities and hosted over 3000 events per year. He is also returning to Midland as he previously held the Operations Manager position at the Midland Center. We are proud of his many achievements including being awarded City Council Award for Service: City of Temple, Confederate Air Force Service Award: Midland, Texas and Celebration of the Arts-Committee Chair-Outstanding Volunteer. Rick is married to Laurie, they have 6 Children and soon to be 10 grandchildren. If he has spare time he enjoys tournament bass fishing and music as he is a percussionist.
